ABOUT
Dora The Explorer: Dora the Explorer teaches children how to observe situations and solve problems as they explore Dora's world with her. Along the way, kids learn basic words and phrases, as well as math skills, music, and physical coordination. | Boots Dora's best friend Boots is a furry, fuzzy, five-and-a-half-year-old monkey who speaks English. He is sweet and loving, and he likes to hold Dora's hand and follow her lead like a worshipful younger brother. He is playful, giggly and happy, and he loves to make Dora laugh and to surprise her. When he is feeling down, he always bounces back quickly with one of his signature triple flips. |
Tico is a four-year-old Spanish-speaking squirrel and a good friend to Dora. He is young and playful, but also quite brave and heroic. He loves to drive around in his little yellow car and has been known to save the day in a crisis.
Backpack
Present from Mamá and Papi, Backpack is a friend who Dora takes with her wherever she goes. A real gogetter with a can-do spirit, Backpack provides anything that Dora might need for her quest. Backpack can also speak Spanish and English, just like Dora.

Swiper is a quick, sneaky, English-speaking fox who tries to swipe things that Dora needs to complete her quest. When Swiper swipes something, he also hides it, so Dora and Boots (and the viewer) must find it. The only way to stop Swiper is to call out, "Swiper, no swiping!
